Phi Beta Euro can provide travel support staff who travel with the group throughout the short course. Some Universities prefer to have these staff with the group for the entire itinerary, allowing the students to become friends with them and establish them as a local contact.
Phi Beta Euro's travel support staff can help ease the strain on faculty members. They do this by advance checking all bookings, including accommodation and meetings, having a solid knowledge of each destination city and country in general, and by being an extra set of hands that can help out in other circumstances. This frees up the faculty members to concentrate on their short course topic and allows them to relax, research their topic in more depth, and enjoy the overall experience.
On itineraries that are longer than about 14 days and visit more than one city, Phi Beta Euro recommends the assistance of at least one travel support staff. We are flexible to provide as much hands-on service as each group feels they require. This has proven to be rewarding for both faculty leaders and the students themselves, during both the time before the short course, and during it. Especially so in countries that do not have English as their first language.
